Senior Buyer - Culinary

About the role

Play a key role in the procurement for our culinary department including large industrial appliances and merchandising equipment, to small wares like spatulas, whisks, and plates, as well as large quantities of food and consumables.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with chefs and other stakeholders (including the catering, events, facilities, and accounting teams)
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with a variety of vendors
• Source locally whenever possible and work with a variety of purveyors, from local farmers to national wholesalers
• Update and expand culinary facilities to support daily menus featuring regional, international, and seasonal offerings

Requirements

• Experience with Epic culinary department operations
• Experience with Excel and Access
• Willingness to relocate to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience: 3+ years in procurement or related field
