About the Role
As a Senior Buyer at Winchester Interconnect, you will lead the strategic transformation of our procurement initiatives at the Dayville, CT facility. This role demands a hands-on professional capable of balancing high-level strategy with daily execution. You will architect a world-class supply chain by optimizing the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and proactively mitigating global risks. Serving as a strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure our operations remain lean, innovative, and market-leading.
Responsibilities
- Support and drive the strategic and operational purchasing goals for our wire, cable, and harness manufacturing facility.
- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and take decisive action to ensure material availability.
- Prioritize several high-urgency tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Implement procurement strategies and management systems to standardize processes.
- Monitor and achieve key KPIs, including Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), supplier quality, material lead time reduction, and cost savings targets.
- Drive Material Productivity and align procurement activities with the Group’s financial goals and operating income targets.
- Reduce raw material complexity, implement inventory strategies, and manage price rebalancing and negotiations with suppliers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure a "Solutions Provider" approach to customer experience.
- Innovate and pursue bold initiatives, such as automating replenishment processes or consolidating supplier bases.
Requirements
- Proven ability to analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends and mitigate risks.
- Exceptional ability to prioritize high-urgency tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to implement procurement strategies and management systems to standardize processes.
- Expertise in monitoring and achieving key procurement KPIs.
- Ability to drive Material Productivity and align procurement activities with financial goals.
- Experience in reducing raw material complexity and managing inventory strategies.
- Extensive experience within the wire and cable or cable harness manufacturing industry.
- Technical skill in utilizing Google Enterprise, local ERP systems (such as Infor Visual), and talent management software.

Pay
The pay range for this position is up to $90,000 annually, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and other relevant factors.
