Senior Buyer

Help drive our procurement performance so we continue to exceed customer expectations. We are seeking a Senior Buyer to:
Responsibilities
- Process complex purchase orders for supplies, general and specialized medical supplies, clinical supplies, medical equipment, and services.
- Work with end users, clinicians, materials management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) teams on discontinued, back-ordered, conversion and new products.
- Review and facilitate pricing connections between contracts and ERP system.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel being able to run pivots and do data analysis to share with contract manager for review.
- Support special projects as assigned.
- Work with business leaders for Capital and Non-Capital purchases of goods and services.
- Aid in obtaining the best products and services at the lowest cost.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field, or
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree, in addition to the experience below.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
Preferred Work Experience
- Five (5) years purchasing and/or buying experience.
- Healthcare setting experience.
- Oracle Cloud or similar ERP experience preferred.
- Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification preferred.

Schedule
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This position is hybrid. On-site requirements up to four times per year in Middleton, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
