Senior BuyerLocation: West Point, MS Salary: $80,000–$90,000 Schedule: Full-Time | On-SiteWe are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support procurement and strategic sourcing for a growing aerospace and defense manufacturing operation. This role will manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure materials and components are available to support production requirements.ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and qualify suppliersManage RFQs, purchase orders, pricing, and supplier follow-upNegotiate contracts, pricing, lead times, and commercial termsIdentify and execute cost-reduction opportunitiesMonitor supplier quality, delivery, and overall performanceSupport inventory and production requirementsPartner with Engineering, Quality, Production, and LogisticsMaintain compliance with aerospace/defense procurement requirementsMentor and support junior purchasing team membersQualifications5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experienceManufacturing procurement experience requiredAerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferredStrong supplier negotiation and cost-reduction experienceExperience purchasing materials, components, subassemblies, and/or engineered partsStrong understanding of supplier performance, lead times, and supply-chain riskExcellent communication, organization, and negotiation skillsCompensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience.
