Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Ensures cost effective procurement and delivery of material and service to support plant and customer requirements.

- Protecting or enhancing company margins by coordinating lowest cost sourcing, maintaining, or improving material margins through launch and driving post-launch cost reduction idea generation/implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years work experience
- Automotive cross-functional experience a plus
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- Works independently, under general supervision
- No supervisory responsibilities
