Senior Business Transformation Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a Business Transformation Advisor (Senior) to support the implementation of mission-critical and time-sensitive policies for a government client. This role is responsible for establishing clear, actionable implementation plans, developing communication materials for wide-ranging stakeholders related to high-priority initiatives, and providing program and strategic support to executive leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced advisor who can efficiently navigate multiple strategic planning, policy implementation, communications, and executive support tasks at one time. The individual will play a key role in ensuring transformation initiatives stay on track, remain aligned with leadership objectives, and are clearly communicated across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Business Transformation Advisory: Advise senior leadership on best practices for organizational and business transformation. Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new policies, processes, and ways of working across stakeholder groups. Develop and design governance structures and processes that enable transformation to scale and sustain over time.
- Policy Analysis: Conduct policy analysis and develop actionable blueprints for business operations, processes, information flows, and organizational structures. Translate strategic objectives and directed tasks into actionable blueprints and implementation plans. Develop process maps, organizational design options, and information flow diagrams, as needed to meet organizational needs.
- Implementation Planning & Tracking: Develop clear, actionable implementation plans for mission-critical policy initiatives and directives. Establish and maintain tracking tools to monitor progress, track risks, and update status. Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and dependencies, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve resolution.
- Communications Support: Develop tactical and strategic communication products (status updates, briefings, talking points, memos) for wide-ranging internal and external stakeholders. Customize messaging and narrative on transformation efforts to different audiences, ensuring consistency and alignment of messaging across the program.
- Reporting and Communications Support: Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, briefings, and visualizations to support leadership's objectives and reporting requirements. Collaborate with communications and business transformation teams to ensure data products align with broader messaging and strategic narratives.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with the Program Manager, Contractor/Consulting Teams, Government Stakeholders, and Senior Leadership to understand data needs and priorities. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to ensure analytics tools meet the needs of the end user.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Organizational Management or related field.
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in business transformation, program management, and/or policy implementation.
- Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Power BI) to support planning and status reporting.
- Familiarity with change management principles and frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying dashboards and analytics tools in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing policy implementation plans and tracking/reporting tools.
- Strong ability to translate evolving policy into structured, actionable implementation plans.
- Experience developing communications products for various audiences, including executive leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
