Senior Business Strategy Consultant - Group Insurance

About the role

This role will shape strategic direction within a group insurance business by analyzing market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer and financial trends. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop actionable recommendations that support growth, differentiation, and execution of key initiatives. The position is highly visible and combines strategic thinking with hands-on program leadership to advance priorities from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market and industry trends to assess business implications
• Identify new growth opportunities and areas for differentiation
• Lead strategic analysis and develop business cases and recommendations
• Manage high-priority cross-functional initiatives from exploration to execution
• Evaluate competitive activities and strategies
• Develop and test strategic hypotheses, challenging existing assumptions
• Translate complex information into actionable insights for senior leaders
• Collaborate across functions to advance strategic priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to lead strategic projects with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in market, competitive, customer, and financial analysis
• Strong communication skills tailored to various organizational levels
• Ability to influence across organizational boundaries

Pay

$111,300 – $207,800 annually
