About the Role
The Senior Business Process Analyst is responsible for centralizing and improving procurement request processes across the organization. This role enhances accuracy, streamlines workflows, and provides greater operational visibility by developing standardized intake tools, workflows, documentation, and tracking solutions. The position plays an important role in reducing bottlenecks, improving procurement efficiency, and providing leadership with actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain centralized procurement intake forms, workflows, templates, and dashboards.
- Review and triage procurement requests to validate completeness and coordinate resolution of issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, and communication templates.
- Build and maintain tracking and reporting tools to monitor request volume, workload, timelines, risks, and process performance.
- Prepare operational reports and provide leadership with recommendations to improve efficiency and process outcomes.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities for workflow standardization and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve intake, routing, and procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting acquisition, procurement intake, or business process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency developing process documentation, intake tools, dashboards, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Technical proficiency with workflow systems, tracking tools, and reporting platforms such as Power BI or SharePoint.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps and communicate actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal acquisition, procurement, or contracting operations.
- Experience developing automated dashboards and digital intake solutions.
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements that increase efficiency.
- Familiarity with intake, triage, routing, and workflow management processes.
Pay
Salary range of $120,000–$145,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, qualifications, skills, and contract requirements.
