Senior Business Inventory Analyst

About the role

DSV is the world's third-largest supplier of global transport and logistics solutions. The Senior Business Inventory Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy and managing distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement space utilization plan to meet cost and service standards.
• Maintain and update product locator systems.
• Oversee scheduled shifts and evaluate inventory staff and subordinates.
• Analyze daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Audit daily error reports and make corrections.
• Analyze WMS reports for cycle count dollar variances.
• Analyze stock changes and take corrective action.
• Manage physical inventory audits.
• Prepare monthly reports and communicate major issues.
• Perform daily startup meetings and encourage associate feedback.
• Coordinate operations with managers to meet daily objectives.
• Assist with associate relations and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality principles.
• Communicate with DSV representatives and clients via email.
• Write corrective/preventive actions and complete reports.
• Conduct evaluations and provide counseling memos.
• Assist management with labor/equipment needs.
• Develop team leaders and ensure associate expectations are met.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience in logistics/distribution, and basic computer skills including RF scanners and WMS functions.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors.

Schedule

Flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
