Senior Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data transformation initiatives. This individual will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to develop scalable data solutions, improve data accessibility, and support strategic decision-making across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions supporting reporting and analytics initiatives
• Build and maintain data transformation workflows
• Develop logical and physical data models
• Support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data requirements
• Improve data quality, governance, and consistency across platforms
• Participate in development best practices, testing, and code management processes
• Support ongoing data modernization efforts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, business intelligence engineering, or related disciplines
• Strong SQL development experience
• Experience working with enterprise data warehouse technologies
• Data modeling experience (DBT and Snowflake)
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or business intelligence initiatives
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with source control and collaborative development environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• Experience with modern data transformation frameworks
• Exposure to cloud-native analytics platforms
• Knowledge of enterprise ERP and operational systems
• Experience building scalable reporting datasets and semantic layers
