Senior Business Development Manager- Federal
About the role
The Senior Business Development Manager will drive business development efforts for the Client Services Group, focusing on US Federal markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities with Federal and Civilian agencies.
- Understand the mission objectives, program operations, and business processes of these agencies.
- Be familiar with the life cycle acquisition processes driving the Government technology capture process.
- Offer unique perspectives to customers and have solid communication skills.
- Understand the client's value drivers and business economics.
- Have the ability to effectively discuss technology services, offerings, and solutions.
- Develop and maintain client and teaming partner relationships in targeted Federal key accounts.
- Have a good understanding of IT projects' life cycles and emerging technologies such as Cloud Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain.
- Willing to undertake extensive business-related travel.
Requirements
- 14+ years of business development experience, including selling technology-related services and solutions to US Federal Government agencies with emphasis on IRS, VA, and HHS.
- Experience in closing deals in IT Consulting and Systems Integration (client account selling vs. transaction/product selling).
- A demonstrated track record of closing $10M+ IT Consulting / Systems Integration deals.
- Must have developed and maintained client and teaming partner relationships in targeted Federal key accounts.
- Good understanding of IT Projects' Life Cycles and emerging technologies such as Cloud Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain.
- Willing to undertake an extensive amount of business-related travel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
- Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree program are strongly preferred.

Pay
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows: In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ/Washington DC: $128,000 to $250,000.
