Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a central coordination point during events, working directly with business leaders, technology teams, and risk partners
  • Support activation and execution of the Event Response framework and associated response activities
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and tracking of actions across responding teams
  • Absorb and document key decisions, actions, and outcomes during events
  • Support post-incident review activities, including tracking follow-up actions to completion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a degree focus in business continuity, crisis response, incident management; or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills
  • 3-5 years risk management or crisis management experience

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across business, technology, risk, and communications
  • Support alignment between Enterprise Resiliency and lines of business during both planning and response
  • Facilitate coordination across teams to ensure consistent and effective event response practices

Job Description

Aid in the planning and execution of the Event Response Team functions. Assist in planning for and responding to events that impact operations. The Sr Business Continuity Associate is a key member of the Enterprise Resiliency team, responsible for supporting the firm’s preparedness for and response to disruptive events. This role ensures that event response documentation, processes, and coordination mechanisms are maintained and executed effectively. The position includes on-call responsibilities approximately 20–30% of the time, supporting real-time response when events occur.
