Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager (LO) to join their Small & Business Banking Team. Responsibilities
- Sources and onboards new business clients through strategic prospecting, community outreach, and internal referrals
- Builds visibility and develops strong Centers of Influence (COIs) to support long-term relationship development
- Deepens existing relationships by understanding client priorities and proactively identifying opportunities for engagement and expansion
- Manages a moderately complex book of business to drive portfolio growth by increasing core deposit balances and identifying deepening opportunities
- Proactively manages risk exposure and ensures alignment with underwriting policies and risk guidelines
- Conducts comprehensive financial and credit assessments including cash flow, collateral, and business operating cycles
- Structures and supports secured and unsecured credit solutions within delegated authority, coordinating with credit partners as needed
- Presents credit recommendations and financial strategies to clients and internal stakeholders
- Recommends and delivers a full suite of Wells Fargo business banking products including credit, treasury management, and digital banking tools
- Tailors solutions to client operating cycles, cash flow needs, and strategic goals
- Collaborates with product teams and internal stakeholders to creatively solve client challenges and streamline processes
- Engages financial decision-makers with proactive communication and responsive service
- Provides actionable feedback to enhance tools and offerings that elevate client experience and operational excellence
- Retains and grows client relationships by advising on financial strategies and managing expectations with transparency and care
- May refer customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member, but does not take applications or negotiate terms
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 2+ years of experience sourcing and/or managing a portfolio of clients with $2mm - 25mm in annual revenue
- 3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales
- Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services
- Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
- Ability to balance client needs with associated risks and interests of Wells Fargo
- Established network in the local market
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher

Job Expectations
- Responsible for visiting customers and prospects outside of the branch location within an assigned market/geography
- Must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies
- Must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards
- Must pass a current credit report to assess financial responsibility and credit fitness
- Must meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
