Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager

Role Overview The Business Banking Relationship Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive banking services to businesses with annual sales between $5M and $25M. The role emphasizes enhancing client experience and managing risk through financial solutions, education, and strategic advice. Key Responsibilities Conducts retention and new business development calls on existing and potential clients.Identifies prospects, maintains pipelines, and develops new small business relationships.Interviews applicants, recommends loan products, and determines optimal loan structures for approval.Coordinates loan closings, verifies documentation, and ensures accuracy.Recognizes opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.Acts as a financial advisor, educating clients on financial strategies aligned with their needs.Monitors customer portfolios to identify additional value opportunities.Collaborates with departments to close deals and expand client relationships. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.Knowledge of cash flow analysis and business credit underwriting; commercial credit training preferred.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Business acumen with understanding of diverse industries and financial concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
