About the Role
We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization undergoing a significant business and technology transformation. This role will focus on understanding the current state, defining the future state, and connecting business processes, systems, and technology to create a simpler and more joined-up experience. You’ll work across business and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders, product teams, and architects to identify opportunities, challenge existing processes, and build alignment around practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define future-state customer and user experiences across end-to-end business journeys.
- Map and improve business processes, workflows, and operating models.
- Connect business, product, and technology stakeholders to ensure initiatives remain aligned to the wider vision.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions to bring stakeholders together, identify trade-offs, and drive decisions.
- Assess proposed changes to processes, systems, and experiences against the desired future state.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities across business processes, applications, data, and technology.
- Support wider transformation and digital initiatives through business architecture expertise.
- Create clear journey maps, process models, and other documentation to support decision-making and ongoing change.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in Business Architecture, Customer Experience, Enterprise Process Improvement, or a related area.
- Strong experience with journey mapping, process modeling, customer experience, operating models, or business architecture.
- Proven ability to facilitate discussions and influence stakeholders across different business and technology functions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with SAFe or similar frameworks.
- Comfortable influencing and driving decisions without formal authority.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, digital initiatives, or strategic change.
- Good understanding of how business processes, applications, data, and technology work together.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and technical architects.
- Insurance or Financial Services experience is preferred, along with knowledge of business architecture frameworks.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now, with no need for sponsorship in the future.
