About The Role

The Revenue Management Senior Business Analyst (SBA) is a business-oriented individual focused on revenue management initiatives within the US Sales Enablement organization. This role centers on the "Quote to Cash" space, providing primary support for CPQ (Configure Price Quote) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) solutions. The SBA will assist in gaining consistent business input for deploying enterprise-wide system capabilities to strengthen efficiency and effectiveness in US commercial pricing and contracting execution. This individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across all US Divisional Sales Operations, Pricing, and Contracting teams to harmonize business practices and processes related to these capabilities.

Work Mode: Hybrid (minimum three days per week in the local office at either the Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA campus). Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Boston Scientific will offer or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage and complete leadership-assigned tasks within the "Quote to Cash" space.
  • Gather and analyze business system requirements with the Product Owner.
  • Support the establishment of business value and priority for requirements using Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concepts (rapid engagement, piloting, iteration).
  • Understand the voice of the business, current processes, and identify gaps impacting efficiency.
  • Oversee and maintain departmental SharePoint sites.
  • Support the Product Owner in gathering and drafting user stories through the stakeholder intake process for new or enhanced features and agreement templates.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with the Product Owner/IT to implement solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement of CPQ and CLM solutions across business divisions in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Work with the IT Revenue Management team and relevant vendors through all stages of the development process.
  • Develop and maintain user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts to ensure new enhancements are thoroughly tested and validated.
  • Design, author, and maintain comprehensive job aids, user guides, and training materials to support self-service adoption.
  • Own the product backlog, facilitating refinement sessions with stakeholders and development teams to ensure well-defined user stories.
  • Develop performance dashboards for the Revenue Management Product Team, encompassing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and insights within the "Quote to Cash" solution.
  • Drive CPQ template harmonization initiatives to establish consistent pricing structures.
  • Assist the Product Owner in developing and disseminating stakeholder communications on behalf of the Revenue Management product team.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the "Quote to Cash" solution and stay current on new features, functionality, and application capabilities.
  • Actively seek input from Sales Management, Finance, and Marketing to understand customer needs and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Manage and complete special projects and analytic research; support the creation of presentations for management as required.
  • Translate business requirements from Service Requests (ServiceNow) into actionable JIRA tickets, ensuring optimal work distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, or similar discipline preferred).
  • Minimum of 8+ years analyzing business requirements, developing and documenting process flows, and testing new functionality.
  • Experience working with Sales/Marketing in a pricing, analytical, and contracting capacity.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mentality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with sales executives and bridge the gap between technical development teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in creating business process flow diagrams and flowcharts.
  • Experience extracting data from Salesforce using Reports/Dashboards objects and SQL.
  • Experience designing and developing dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau.
  • Healthcare and/or medical device industry experience.
  • Functional experience and knowledge in Quote to Cash areas including CPQ, CLM, and X-Author Templates.
  • Process-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvements to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute significantly to performance and revenue growth.
  • Highly detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated, high-impact individual with strong technical, analytical, and leadership competencies.
  • Experience working successfully within a matrix organization, effectively influencing cross-functionally across divisions and at various levels of management.
  • Extensive experience leveraging and maximizing IT solutions and processes.

Pay

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $81,000 to $153,900. Actual compensation will vary based on location, experience, education, and other relevant factors. Compensation for this non-exempt, non-sales role may also include variable compensation such as overtime, shift differentials, and annual bonus targets (subject to eligibility). Exempt roles may include variable compensation such as annual bonus targets and long-term incentives.
