About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Associate, Product Strategy, to support strategic priorities for the Consumer and Developer Experience (CDX) leadership team. CDX is an exciting space with diverse product responsibilities spanning customer digital engagement, including the Capital One app; Capital One’s marketing platform, analytics, and personalization engine; the product suite used to manage all Capital One suppliers and vendors; products associated with the company’s risk management responsibilities; and more.

The Senior Associate will join a horizontal product and strategy team that supports priorities across CDX. The team serves as an internal engine for both vision and strategic alignment, operating at the intersection of strategic advisory and product creation. We use the rigor of top-tier consulting to solve the organization’s hardest strategic questions, drive the annual planning process, and align long-term priorities. Simultaneously, we act as an innovation lab, developing prototypes and partnering with product and engineering teams to translate conceptual visions into tangible, scaled digital experiences.

We are looking for someone who thrives in this duality—equally energized by big-picture questions, thorny strategic problems, and hands-on building.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with CDX leaders to answer thorny strategic questions, using a consulting-style model
  • Lead workstreams on priority strategic initiatives for CDX, such as AI transformation
  • Support the organization’s intelligence unit by providing analytics, landscape assessments, thematic deep dives, and more to help anticipate headwinds and tailwinds
  • Set the vision for long-term product innovation, including partnering with engineering to deliver product prototypes
  • Obsess about internal and external customer satisfaction by establishing trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to CDX organization’s strategic capabilities (e.g., by developing trainings)
  • Role model AI adoption by inventing and spreading solutions that improve work efficiency, quality, and fun
