Position Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will lead and define the business analysis strategy for large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives. This role is responsible for managing complex requirement portfolios, mentoring analysts, guiding process optimization, and partnering with senior leadership to shape solution direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the business analysis strategy for significant, complex, or enterprise-wide programs.
- Manage, prioritize, and maintain a portfolio of business requirements across multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk analyses, and business case development to support investment and technology-selection decisions.
- Mentor, coach, and provide quality assurance for junior and mid-level Business Analysts.
- Facilitate high-stakes negotiations with senior stakeholders to establish consensus on scope, priorities, and solution direction.
- Lead business process re-engineering initiatives to optimize operations in advance of technical implementation.
- Partner with senior leadership to define scope, develop business cases, evaluate solution options, and align technology investments with mission and enterprise goals.
- Advise program leadership on data strategy, solution feasibility, and organizational impacts.
- Oversee the development and integration of user training and documentation within the broader change-management strategy to maximize user adoption.
- Ensure requirements management practices, standards, and documentation evolve to meet enterprise needs.
- Leverage Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Teams, and similar collaboration tools to manage complex backlogs, track progress, and support enterprise-level coordination.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with proven leadership on complex projects or programs.
- Expert-level capability across all aspects of business analysis—strategic thinking, facilitation, requirements management, process modeling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Mastery of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor frameworks to program needs.
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and leverage Jira, Azure DevOps, and MS Teams in managing complex program backlogs and cross-team collaboration.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex findings to executive audiences.

Salary
$90k+ to align with education and experience.
