What You Can Expect

The Broker Program Analytics Analyst will monitor numerous broker programs through Power BI platforms, Excel-based reporting tools, SQL Server data sources, and year-to-date performance analysis. This role ensures broker programs are measured accurately against expected KPIs, trends are identified early, and business stakeholders receive clear reporting and actionable insights.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute reporting tools that monitor broker program performance across multiple initiatives using Excel, Power BI, and SQL Server-based data.
  • Review year-to-date results, validate program data, identify performance gaps, and highlight when programs are not meeting expected KPIs.
  • Monitor numerous broker programs using Power BI dashboards, Excel-based reports, and SQL Server data sources.
  • Create, maintain, and execute Excel and Power BI tools to review year-to-date program performance, including sales, margin, participation, payout, and other relevant KPI trends.
  • Analyze broker program results against expected KPIs and identify programs that are underperforming, off-track, or requiring additional review.
  • Validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data across reporting platforms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop clear reporting views, scorecards, and summaries that allow stakeholders to understand broker program performance and year-to-date progress.
  • Manage Community Solar program reporting and administrative processes, including extracting program data from online portals into spreadsheets for review, reconciliation, and tracking.
  • Upload Community Solar data into accounting files and execute related payment records in accordance with established processes and required timelines.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and broker program stakeholders to clarify reporting needs, define success measures, and communicate program performance insights.
  • Use SQL Server queries and data extracts to support recurring and ad hoc analysis.
  • Identify data anomalies, missing information, and process issues that may affect broker program reporting or KPI interpretation.
  • Translate analytical findings into business recommendations, including potential actions to improve performance or address KPI gaps.
  • Document reporting logic, assumptions, data sources, and recurring processes to support continuity and auditability.
  • Manage multiple reporting priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, analytics, information systems, finance, marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, sales operations, finance operations, or program performance analysis preferred.
  • Prior experience with broker programs, incentive programs, commercial sales reporting, or retail energy data is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand broker program objectives, expected KPIs, and performance drivers.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports, and performance views.
  • Experience writing or modifying SQL queries using SQL Server or similar relational database platforms.
  • Ability to interpret year-to-date performance data and identify where programs are not performing to expected results.
  • Ability to extract Community Solar program data from portals, organize the data in spreadsheets, and prepare files for review, upload, and payment processing.
  • Experience uploading data into accounting files and executing or supporting payment records with accuracy and attention to required controls.
  • Ability to understand technical system documentation and interact with IT, data, and business resources.
