Senior Bridge Construction Inspector

From VT's Missisquoi Bay Bridge replacement to MA's Green Line Extension to NH's award-winning Mount Washington Hotel our local construction management division and inspection team has steadily grown over the past twenty-five years.
Responsibilities
- Interface with contractors and attend meetings.
- Mentor or supervise other inspectors, on behalf of resident engineer, or project manager.
- Complete daily reports, measure and calculate unit price quantities.
- Coordinate independent material sampling and testing.
- Maintain traffic and take and compile photographs for tracking of daily progress.
- Help update red-line drawings using Bluebeam.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma with 9 years of applicable experience.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans and specifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Associate of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field.
- ACI or NETTCP certifications, or ability to attain within 3 months of hiring.
- Average proficiency with MS WORD Suite.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD or similar systems.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills.
Skills
Highly skilled in reading and interpreting shop drawings, design plans and specifications. Proficient in MS Word Suite. Experienced with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD or similar systems. Knowledgeable in Bluebeam. Demonstrated supervisory skills.

Pay
Expected Salary (all locations): $73,100 - $144,800
