About the role

The role involves supporting a major warehouse modernization initiative replacing a 30-year-old legacy MMS platform with Blue Yonder's WMS. This is a critical enterprise deployment and requires a senior-level Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate the architecture and configuration of the existing Blue Yonder WMS solution
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise for the implementation
  • Configure and optimize the Blue Yonder WMS platform based on business requirements and functional specifications
  • Translate business requirements into effective Blue Yonder WMS configurations
  • Work alongside business analysts and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and integration issues
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) implementation experience
  • Deep expertise in configuring and customizing Blue Yonder WMS solutions
  • Experience leading or advising large-scale WMS implementations and deployments
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution workflows
  • Ability to assess existing configurations and recommend best practices and improvements
  • Comfortable working alongside business analysts and functional teams who provide requirements
  • Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience replacing legacy warehouse management systems is highly preferred

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional Certifications: Certified Blue Yonder Professional (CBYP) or similar relevant certifications

  • Technical proficiency with Blue Yonder WMS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
