About the role
- Conduct statistical analyses to support research projects
- Develop and apply statistical models to complex biological data
- Collaborate with biologists and other scientists to interpret results
- Present findings at scientific meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Responsibilities
- Design and implement statistical methods for data analysis
- Perform data cleaning and preparation for analysis
- Interpret statistical results and communicate findings to non-statistical stakeholders
- Stay updated with the latest statistical methodologies and software tools
Requirements
- PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with statistical software packages such as R, SAS, or Python
- Strong programming skills in languages like R or Python
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
