Senior BIM Technician / VDC Specialist

About the role

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes within a construction project team. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of digital models throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models using industry-standard software tools.
• Collaborate with project teams to define BIM workflows and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders on BIM applications.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular model reviews and provide feedback to improve model accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in BIM and VDC.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current BIM standards and best practices.
• Experience with VDC coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
