About the Role
The Senior Coordinator – Revenue Operations is an integral part of Latham’s Practice Office Revenue Operations team. This role strategically manages inventory and revenue cycle activities to help the firm achieve its financial targets through efficient, commercially focused service. It involves formulating innovative solutions to improve the management, engagement, and performance of the revenue lifecycle, while minimizing exposure to locked-up inventory and mitigating financial and reputational risk. This role is located in the San Diego office and may be eligible for a flexible hybrid working schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue lifecycle for a group of billing attorneys or matters, ensuring compliance with applicable court requirements and filing deadlines.
- Act as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact, establishing and maintaining strong internal and external client relationships.
- Influence billing behavior and outcomes constructively.
- Communicate frequently with billing attorneys, attorney support, and other stakeholders to discuss work-in-progress (WIP) and accounts receivable (AR), determine appropriate courses of action, and reduce inventory days.
- Ensure compliance of all processes and systems with relevant internal and external regulations, including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and money laundering regulations, while proactively identifying and mitigating associated risks.
- Mentor Revenue Operations team members to maintain a high-quality, punctual service and assist with team development.
- Promote best practices for matter maintenance to ensure the judicious conversion of work-in-progress (WIP) to cash, including accurate matter opening/closure, effective use of billed on account (BOA), and strategic inventory management.
- Exercise discretion to advise on appropriate write-offs and articulate the financial and business rationale supporting recommendations.
- Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting.
- A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative professional experience.

- Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team-leadership capacity with a customer-service focus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time, prioritize effectively, handle multiple deadlines, and supervise the work of others to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Pay
USD $105,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 per year.
