About the role
Support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualizations, and dashboards. These will effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights, and trends across various business units.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards utilizing best practices in data visualization principles and design aesthetics to ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Design, develop, and implement automated report generation processes and visualization methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.
- Identify and analyze business requirements to define report content and format.
- Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including coordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
- Develop robust processes and controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and seeking sign-offs as required.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure up-to-date data is incorporated into reporting and visualizations.
- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
- Collaborate with other areas of the business to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives.

Requirements
- Advanced SQL and data handling skills, including querying (joins, window functions), data cleaning, and a strong understanding of system-wide data flows.
- Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools such as Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau to build intuitive dashboards and deliver compelling data-driven storytelling.
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables, and data model optimization for performance and scalability.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, translate complex requirements into technical solutions, and communicate insights effectively.
- Familiarity with ETL and data pipelines, including automation tools like Airflow and Azure Data Factory, and managing data freshness.
- Business acumen and communication skills to translate business needs into data requirements and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Basic programming skills using Python or R for data wrangling, automation, and light analytics/forecasting.

Pay
Base salary range: $160,000 – $210,000. This role is also eligible for an incentive award.
