About the role

As a Behavior Planning Engineer on our ADAS Autonomous Driving Team, you will manage the software stack and introduce new algorithms to improve customer experience. You will conduct data analysis to extract critical scenarios from fleet and simulation data, enhancing our autonomous driving system's decision-making capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, engineer, test, release, and launch cutting-edge features for ADAS/Autonomous Driving.
  • Conduct research to develop state-of-the-art machine learning-based planning and prediction solutions and drive them to production.
  • Analyze large-scale data from fleet and simulation to extract critical scenarios for system improvement.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in C++ & Python, with 3+ years of academic/industry experience using relevant libraries for data analysis and management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software design principles, focusing on scalable and efficient data management systems.
  • Understanding and exposure to non-ML planning methods.
  • Experience conducting research and implementing machine learning-based planning and prediction solutions in production.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS/PhD (preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • 3+ years of academic/industry experience in ML development, with a solid understanding of its applications in large-scale data systems.
  • Experience porting trained models to embedded platforms.
  • Background in perception, environment modeling, prediction, or planning as part of an ADAS/AD software stack or equivalent robotic applications.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing for perception and planning stacks in Autonomous Driving or robotic applications is a plus.
  • Academic or practical experience in imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or simulation.

Pay

Base pay range (annual): $158,400 – $217,800 USD.
