About the role
This role serves as the first point of contact for financial center clients, uncovering personal banking needs for both individual and small business clients, offering solutions, and connecting clients to specialists. Responsibilities include deepening client relationships, supporting self-service and transactional activities, and providing exceptional client care. The role involves proactive client outreach through outbound calls and consistent follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to provide financial center clients with consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies based on their unique life priorities.
- Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions through self-service technologies.
- Leverage resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy.
- Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines for day-to-day activities, such as opening accounts, account maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping.
- Manage client interactions by taking the best course of action for the bank and its clients while abiding by all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client.
- Collaborates effectively to build and nurture strong relationships.
- Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients' financial lives.
- Confidence in identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients in-person and by phone.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet clients' needs.
- Effective time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be a commissioned notary or able to obtain a notary commission in the state of employment within a few months of starting (timeframe varies by location).
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours, including being scheduled at any financial center within a reasonable distance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum education requirement).
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or a related field (desired).
- Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded (desired).
- Retail and/or sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment (desired).
- Experience with individual and/or team goals where goals were routinely met or exceeded (desired).
- Experience with financial information, spreadsheets, and financial skills (desired).
- Knowledge of banking products and services (desired).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and experience with laptop technology (desired).
