About the role

This role serves as the first point of contact for financial center clients, helping uncover personal banking needs for both individual and small business clients, offering tailored solutions, and connecting clients to specialists. You will deepen client relationships, support self-service and transactional activities, and provide exceptional client care through proactive outreach and consistent follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams to deliver consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies, helping clients navigate their unique life priorities.
  • Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions using self-service technologies.
  • Leverage resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines for day-to-day activities, including account opening, maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping.
  • Manage client interactions by determining the best course of action for both the bank and clients while complying with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented, client-centric environment.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client.
  • Collaborative approach to getting things done and building strong relationships.
  • Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients' financial lives.
  • Confidence in identifying solutions to meet the needs of new and existing clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients in-person and by phone.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet clients' needs.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be a commissioned notary or able to obtain a notary commission in your state within a few months of starting (timeframe varies by location).
  • Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include being scheduled at any financial center within a reasonable distance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required).
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or a related field (desired).
  • Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded (desired).
  • Retail and/or sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment (desired).
  • Experience working in an environment with individual and/or team goals where goals were routinely met or exceeded (desired).
  • Experience with financial information, spreadsheets, and financial skills (desired).
  • Knowledge of banking products and services (desired).
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and experience with laptop technology (desired).
