• Platform Modernization & Architecture Execution – Deliver scalable services and components that successfully replace our .NET legacy platform to Python on Databricks
• API & Integration Engineering – Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs and integrations that support internal systems and third-party platforms
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Leadership – Partner effectively with engineering, data, and product teams while influencing architecture, standards, and delivery practices

What You’ve Done Before

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years building scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Proven experience contributing to or leading platform modernization or migration initiatives
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (preferably Azure)
• Experience designing and operating production-grade REST APIs
• Background in regulated industries such as FinTech, Banking, or Healthcare is a plus

Tools And Expertise You’ll Bring

• Advanced Python (service development, testing, packaging, maintainable design)
• Must have proven experience and skills working with Databricks, Spark, and data platform ecosystems
• REST API design, authentication, versioning, and error handling best practices
• Frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, API management)
• CI/CD pipelines, version control, and tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• DevOps fundamentals including deployment pipelines and secrets management
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing

Nice-to-have

• Vue.js or modern frontend frameworks
• Streamlit
• Terraform/Bicep
• AI-enabled application patterns
• Familiarity with .NET/C#

• Step 4: Final Interview or Leadership Chat (1 hour) – A final conversation with senior leadership or cross-functional team members to ensure alignment with our mission and values.
• Step 5: Offer & Background Check – If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll move forward with background check and present a competitive offer.
