About the role
The platform needs to handle terabytes of data syncs per customer with the utmost reliability, coordinate complex workflows that automate mission-critical go-to-market processes, handle form submissions that directly generate revenue for customers, and serve high-delivering emails to millions of recipients.
Responsibilities
- Own entire products: scope, design, and build features end-to-end for a marketing automation platform.
- Build for customers: directly engage with customers via dedicated Slack channels to answer questions, fix bugs, and ship features.
- Build for scale: develop systems that reach millions of users and billions of events, ensuring attention to detail at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience shipping product features.
- Startup mindset with a desire for early ownership in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with our tech stack:
- Go for backend services
- Kafka for large-scale data streaming
- Temporal for durable job execution
- PostgreSQL and ClickHouse as databases
- GCP for cloud hosting
- Intellectually curious, with a passion for solving edge cases and technical challenges.
- In-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.
Nice to have
- Experience at a Series A to C startup that scaled quickly.
- A strong track record of side projects, apps, or hackathons (e.g., building a live-streaming security system, a database from scratch, or a custom app).
Pay
Compensation range: $200K - $300K.
