Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support all shared services at Uniswap Labs.
- Write high quality and well tested code, and review code from other team members.
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to peers in navigating architectural and coding tradeoffs.
- Take charge of driving strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that impact the entire engineering organization.
- Improve developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust.
- Excellent coding skills, deep understanding of AWS cloud constructs and architecture, algorithms, and strong debugging capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain a large-scale production system on the cloud, ensuring smooth operation and high availability.
- Be able to build systems from the ground up, in a 0→1 fashion.
- A passion for building scalable, reliable systems that enable high-quality feature development.
Nice to Have
- Experience or a strong interest in infrastructure-as-code tools (Pulumi is a plus).
- Experience with distributed systems, authentication, and developer tooling.
- Degree in computer science.
- Experience or a strong interest in blockchain or DeFi.
Pay
Minimum full-time salary of $180,000-$226,000.
