Senior Backend Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, Cloud)

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases and requirements
• Design, develop, and deliver backend solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies
• Follow architecture guidelines to ensure a unified and consistent development approach
• Develop and maintain backend applications such as APIs and microservices using Java and related technologies
• Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects
• Manage application deployment on cloud or on-prem environments, including monitoring, security, and disaster recovery
• Work with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB for data storage and retrieval
• Improve engineering practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement security practices including encryption and data protection

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java (Java 11/17+)
• Experience building backend applications, APIs, and microservices
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB
• 6+ years of IT experience
• 4+ years of development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
