Senior Backend Engineer, Growth & MSSP

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer, Growth & MSSP to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will focus on building the backend systems that support customer lifecycle workflows, access controls, and subscription-based capabilities within a multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to improve provisioning, onboarding, observability, and compliance-related functionality. The work will also support managed security service provider offerings and help ensure a scalable, reliable experience for customers. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $170,000 – $235,000 annually Responsibilities Design and implement backend services for licensing and access control Build provisioning and onboarding workflows for automatic customer activation Develop infrastructure for user access controls and account settings Build capabilities for managed security service provider offerings Implement audit logging for compliance and support purposes Develop a notifications platform for user alerts and announcements Contribute production code with high standards of quality and observability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 7+ years of software engineering experience in modern programming languages, such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar Experience building applications on cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, including tenant isolation and access controls Hands-on experience with licensing, subscription, entitlement, and usage metering systems Benefits Inclusive team culture with a focus on diversity Numerous career development opportunities in a growing team Collaborative environment that encourages innovation Flexible work options, including hybrid and remote models Competitive benefits, including health, vision, dental insurance, and parental leave Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
