About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer based in the US to join our global backend team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and problem-solving, with a strong background in Python, Django, and related technologies. Experience with GraphQL, Postgres, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cutting-edge time-of-use tariffs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Ensure robust and fault-tolerant software solutions
• Work with international teams to deliver innovative energy solutions

Requirements

• General interest in technology and problem-solving
• Diligent and thoughtful approach to work
• Experience with Python, Django, and related frameworks
• Knowledge of Domain modeling, GraphQL, and robust software development
• Experience with Postgres and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Bonus points for React/Next.js with TypeScript experience
