Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable production services
• Debug production issues across services and multiple stack levels
• Develop integrations between the company and external services
• Lead technical architecture discussions and drive team decisions
• Mentor engineers on best practices
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Release a growing API with 100% backward compatibility
• Build auto-scaling services for peak and non-peak loads
• Arcitect systems for real-time data syncing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in production web application development
• Expertise in modern web application development and relational databases
• Ability to write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
