Senior Backend Engineer - Application Access

About the role

We are looking for product-oriented backend engineers to join our Application Access (MCP) engineering team here at Teleport. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services and APIs that enable access controls, auditing tools, audit logging, session recording summarization, and identity workflows in all aspects of Teleport.

What You'll Do

• Building backend integrations with cloud provider's managed databases.
• Working on scalability and resiliency of clusters with 10K+ nodes.
• Implementing advanced HTTPS proxy with identity aware access control.
• Building hardened security for Linux and Mac users.

What We're Looking For

• Go experience
• Linux systems engineering
• Web Fundamentals (cookie security, HTTP streaming and proxying)
• OAuth experience
• Cryptography engineering experience is a plus

• You will join a 30 minute call with the hiring manager, and we will walk you through the take home exercise and help answer questions.
• You join a Slack channel and submit a coding challenge in Go using Github.
