Senior Back-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Develop, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of high complexity and risk.
• Lead technical staff and clients in investigating, analyzing, and resolving complex technical problems.
• Perform unit testing and assist Business Analysts in defining test plans.
• Create architectural and code level documentation.
• Maintain expected analytic levels, identify and manage interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations.
• Aid in providing cost and time estimates for project tasks and defining project tasks.
• Complete projects within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of clients, including partners, business users, IT team members, vendors, and management.
• Interact with senior leaders and team members to discuss requirements, explore solutions, and demonstrate functionality.

Requirements

• 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.

Technical Competencies

• Perform data extraction from custom file formats using C# SSIS.
• Extract and manipulate data from multiple data sources, including files and SQL databases.
• Deploy packages to a SQL server.
• Create environment variables and assign them in SQL server.
• Write stored procedures, views, functions, and queries for Microsoft SQL Server.
• Create tables for data warehouses and understand the importance of staging and warehouse databases.
• Create and manage roles and row-level security for tabular models in Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Write DAX formulas for measures in tabular models.
• Deploy tabular models and cubes to SQL server.
• Create and support new Power BI dashboards.
• Perform data analysis and validation in Power BI.
• Write DAX formulas for measures.
