Senior AWS Software Engineer (Integration Team)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AWS serverless solutions and enterprise-grade applications using strong TypeScript expertise
- Guide and mentor the engineering team through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Work closely with engineering teams across the company to ensure seamless integration between internal systems and third-party services
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
- Maintain strong engineering standards, writing well-structured code that adheres to SOLID design principles, clean code practices, and REST standards
- Lead high-risk, high-visibility projects within the team's AWS cloud applications and services
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in TypeScript development
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services in a serverless-first, microservices-oriented environment, including: Compute (Lambda, ECS, Fargate), Storage and Data (S3, DynamoDB, RDS), Integration (API Gateway, AppSync, Step Functions, EventBridge), Security and Identity (IAM, Cognito), Networking (VPC, CloudFront, Route 53)
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS tooling (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)
- Proficiency with Git/GitLab for source control and team collaboration
- Experience designing and managing event-driven systems for scalable, responsive applications
- Prior experience mentoring or supporting other engineers in a cross-functional environment
- Experience developing software solutions within the wholesale distribution, retail, supply chain, or related industries
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TypeScript, AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitLab, and REST standards
