Senior AWS Engineer

About the role

A Senior AWS Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates and Terraform configurations.
• Implement and manage AWS Lambda functions for serverless computing.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
• Document and communicate technical designs and solutions effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS engineering roles.
• Proven experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with AWS Security services (IAM, VPC, etc.) and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of AWS Network services (VPC, Route 53, etc.).
• Experience with AWS Database services (RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience with AWS Storage services (S3, EFS, etc.).

Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles.

• $100,000 - $120,000 annually.
