Senior Automotive Technician Post Production (2nd Shift)

About the Role

We’re looking for automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of automotive repairs, from light maintenance to heavy engine work.
• Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
• Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores.
• Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Use of safety equipment, including face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments.

Schedule

We do everything we can to deliver an exceptional customer experience, including delivering great vehicles when expected. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. We’re looking for team players who are committed to our mission and able to work mandatory overtime as needed.
