Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of automotive systems, including: suspension, steering, alignment, coolant systems, engine, electrical, and transmission.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keep advisor aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Inspectors License.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, transmission diagnostics, and/or engine performance.
- Problem solving skills.
- Able to work independently with appropriate time management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Skills
- Previous Ford Dealership experience.
- Other manufacturer training and/or ASE Certifications.

Physical Requirements
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion tasks such as typing on a computer, writing on documents, using common hand tools.
