Senior Automotive Technician

Job Responsibilities and Skills

• Performs approved repairs on vehicles.
• Follows industry standards and completes repairs as requested by customers.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, follows safety regulations, and reports unsafe conditions.
• Keeps up to date on industry trends and repair procedures, attends training.
• Verifies parts orders, performs digital inspections, and communicates with managers and technicians.
• Responsible for the safety and accuracy of repairs.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• At least five years’ experience as an automobile technician.
• ASE Master Certification and L1 a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least five years’ experience as an automobile technician.
• Licenses/Certifications: ASE Master Certification and L1 a plus.

Skills

• Proficient in industry standards and repair procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of digital inspection tools.
• Effective communication skills.

Pay

• Average techs earn between $72,500 - $125,000.

Schedule

• Closed Sundays.
