Senior Automation Test Developer

IDR is seeking a Senior Automation Test Developer. The role is based remotely in Eagan, Minnesota, within the Patient Platform Team at Mayo Clinic. This position involves performing manual and automated testing for mission-critical applications such as the Mayo Clinic App (Mobile) and Patient Online Services (Web). The role combines hands-on testing work with collaboration and technical support for off-shore testing teams, including tasks like staging data, provisioning VDI's, and whitelisting IP addresses.Position Overview for the Senior Automation Test Developer:Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.Design, implement, and maintain testing frameworks aligned with best practices, including data-driven and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.Collaborate with off-shore testing teams to resolve issues and align testing strategies, serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to release testing processes, including participating in activities outside of regular business hours (estimated 5%).Support environment setup tasks such as staging data, provisioning VDI's, and whitelisting IP addresses to facilitate testing activities.Requirements for the Senior Automation Test Developer:At least 3 years of professional experience in software or test automation development, with demonstrated technical experience.Over 5 years of experience developing web and mobile test automation frameworks.Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.Ability to develop and execute tests using Java, C#, Visual Basic, or Python.Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, such as Azure, Jenkins, or GIT.What's in it for you?Opportunities to work on mission-critical healthcare applications.Involvement in collaborative testing strategies, including liaising with off-shore teams.Ability to contribute to environments that include staging data, provisioning virtual desktops, and other admin tasks.Why IDR?25+ Years of Proven Industry Experience in 4 major marketsEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramDedicated Engagement Manager who is committed to you and your success.Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceClearlyRated's Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Award winner 13 years in a row.
