Responsibilities
- Create and deliver training for automation systems related to power system protection and control
- Serve as a technical expert for communication network equipment and real-time controllers
- Develop control logic for fault location and substation control schemes
- Design new technical processes emphasizing automation for emerging technologies
- Oversee and teach safe work practices, focusing on risk management and performance improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical training and automation systems
- In-depth knowledge of communication networks and industry protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus)
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time
