About the role

The role involves working on shift and is open to 12-hour shifts, primarily nights. The position is based in West Point, PA, with an onsite start date. The contract is W2.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with PLC, Robotics, and Automation systems in Life Sciences Manufacturing environments.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update PLCs, SCADA, DeltaV systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize best practices, standards, and procedures related to automation systems maintenance.
  • Handle Change Control processes and technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
  • Support interfaces between Data Historians, Control Systems, and MES.
  • Update knowledge articles and databases to assist in troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in automation engineering.
  • Must have experience with AB, Siemens PLCs, and DeltaV systems.
  • Experience with Change Control, SOP, and Documentation in Life Science Manufacturing environments.
  • Critical analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, collaborative abilities, teamwork, good communication, client-facing skills, requirements design, configuration, and maintenance of PLCs, SCADA, DeltaV systems.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • License/Professional Certification: LS Yes 1.

Benefits

  • Shutdown period during Christmas, typically 3 weeks, at standard rate.

Pay

  • Standard Rate during normal working hours.
  • Adhoc shift rates for nights.

Schedule

  • 7 PM - 7 AM, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off.
