Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation and controls activities for plant projects and process improvements.
- Support technology transfers and manufacturing automation systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, and manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze process performance using OSI PI Historian or similar tools.
- Support Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations, and technical investigations.
- Review automation documentation, SOPs, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Participate in audits and provide on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of automation/controls engineering experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems and automation troubleshooting.
- Experience with OSI PI Historian (or similar process historian).
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, Change Control, CAPA, and Deviations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
