Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced automation systems, including controls architecture, I/O configuration, and industrial network layouts - Program, modify, and optimize PLC systems (Keyence experience preferred) - Create mechanical automation designs and assemblies using SolidWorks - Integrate sensors, HMIs, VFDs, motion controls, and safety systems into automated equipment - Configure and support industrial Ethernet networks and IP-based communication systems - Lead system commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and production startup activities - Support manufacturing operations through root cause analysis and rapid resolution of automation-related downtime - Maintain automation documentation, PLC backups, and programming standards - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Automation Technicians and production support teams
