Responsibilities

• Perform heavy‑duty work and duties of Level 1 and Level 2 automotive technicians
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Conduct advanced diagnostics
• Replace clutches and transmissions
• Identify required parts and coordinate with parts & procurement teams
• Alert team lead or management about difficult issues, patterns, and trends
• Upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment as needed
• Perform OEM recalls when required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., degree/certification beyond HS with 3 years, or 7 years of experience)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles
• Safe driving record
• Current ASE certifications A1‑9 (L1 in emission states when required)

Pay

Hourly rate ranges from $26.73 to $40.10, with the exact base rate dependent on location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs.
