About the role
Will be conducted for the purpose of evaluating the applicant's training, education, experience, interest and personal fitness for the position. Appraisal can be based on any combination of the following: Investigation, oral exam and rating of the application.
Responsibilities
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Accounting.
- Possession of a Certified Public Accountant license in the State of California.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field AND passage of the County Civil Service exam given for Auditor-Appraiser, as prescribed by the State of California.
- Completion of one (1) year experience equivalent to an Auditor-Appraiser III in the Kern County Classification System.
Requirements
- A valid certificate as an "Advanced Appraiser for Tax Purposes" issued by the California State Board of Equalization.
- A valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License.
