  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing top-notch client services and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring all audits are conducted in compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Evaluating and improving internal controls and processes, identifying potential areas of risk and implementing appropriate mitigating strategies.
  • Developing, mentoring, and training staff to enhance their skills and performance, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Growing our audit practice by identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, and participating in business development initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, providing assurance to stakeholders.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing, continuously improving our audit methodology and procedures.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in staff development and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in various accounting software and technologies.
  • A strong commitment to ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
